Dear Friends On November 9th we will be returning home for 2 months after a busy and challenging time here in Malawi. We are so looking forward to seeing family & friends again and it will also be nice to have some respite from the October heat. 06/11/2011

Church Life

Pastor's Teaching Days
Once a month between 20-25 pastors and a few wives from both the Rock Springs Baptist and the New Life churches meet together with Martin Williams for a day of teaching and fellowship at the church centre in Bvumbwe.

It is our policy that generally Malawian churches should financially support their own pastors and often this is possible by them doing some part time work or business.

Youth & Children's Ministry at Bvumbwe New Life Church Centre
The youth and children's work at the New Life church centre is being run by Mrs Nellie Ncherewatha who is doing an excellent job along with support from Marian Williams.

The 'TEE' Bible Teaching Programme
TEE stands for 'Theological Education by Extension' and is a well tried and tested scheme that has been used throughout Africa for many years for providing bible teaching for church members and leaders.

Bible Student Sponsorship
Chisomo Trust sponsors selected students to attend courses at EBCoM - the Evangelical Bible College of Malawi - which is situated near Blantyre. Courses vary from full time residential to part time courses and last between 1 and 3 years.
