Harvery's October Prayer Letter
Dear Friends, After a very busy summer period, things have settled down with us here and I am finally able to send out a long overdue prayer letter! There have been a number of changes in our work that are now established, the prime one being me taking on a full-time teaching position at a local international school as Year 3 teacher and Deputy Head.

Report on August visit to Malawi - Miles and Liz Thomas - See also under Projects
It was such a joy for us to spend 5 weeks in Malawi during the month of August. We really enjoyed being part of the 2008 New Life conference alongside Martin and Marian, Phil and Fi and a group from Epsom with our old friends Neil and Sue Dunlop.

Welcome to Chisomo Trust

Chisomo Trust is a UK registered charity (no 1108334.) which helps support overseas christian work, projects and churches especially in Malawi, Central Africa.

'Chisomo' is a Malawian word meaning 'grace' and the Chisomo Trust (UK) specifically helps the mission and relief work of the New Life Churches and Rock Springs Baptist Churches, through Chisomo Trust (Malawi) and is presently represented in Malawi by resident workers Martin & Marian Williams and Phil & Fiona Harvey.

Malawi is a small country in Central Africa known by many as the 'warm heart of Africa' because of the friendliness of it's people. Many Malawians however live in considerable poverty made worse by recurring famine and a high incidence of AIDS.

The dominant religions are Christianity, Islam and 'traditional belief' although there is presently much openness to the gospel. Now is indeed a time of opportunity for this unique nation and we are privileged to be involved in God's work in that land.

Please take time to browse our website and make contact with us if you can help in any way.
