Harvery's October Prayer Letter
Dear Friends, After a very busy summer period, things have settled down with us here and I am finally able to send out a long overdue prayer letter! There have been a number of changes in our work that are now established, the prime one being me taking on a full-time teaching position at a local international school as Year 3 teacher and Deputy Head.

Report on August visit to Malawi - Miles and Liz Thomas - See also under Projects
It was such a joy for us to spend 5 weeks in Malawi during the month of August. We really enjoyed being part of the 2008 New Life conference alongside Martin and Marian, Phil and Fi and a group from Epsom with our old friends Neil and Sue Dunlop.

Our People

Godfrey Kamwendo and family
My Salvation Testimony and Ministry - Pastor Godfrey and Jane Kamwendo Introduction: In life throughout my childhood I was a self-centred person and I loved myself most than those around me. I had the impression that self-centredness life was the only way of life and strived to achieve in life by own will and effort. There was totally no room in my life for God. Human achievement replaced God's help in my life.

Martin & Marian Williams
Neither of us had any plans to be a missionary. Nothing in my background pointed towards it, (although Marian's was somewhat different), let alone the idea of a 'career missionary' which we hear quite a lot about in Africa where we work. Yet now after so many years we can trace the sure hand of God preparing, shaping and calling us to what we trust has been faithful service for Him.

Phil & Fiona & family
Hello, we are Phil and Fi Harvey from Epsom, Surrey UK and have been in Malawi now for 3 and a half years working with New Life and Rock Spings groups of churches with Martin and Marian Williams. Previously to coming to Malawi I was was a Deputy Headteacher at a primary school in Richmond and Fi was and still is a full time mum and housewife. Fi previously worked for Oracle as an IT account manager for nine years. We have three children, Robert 5 and Rose 4 and Willaim 1, who are enjoying their lives in Malawi very much and attend an international school that I now teach in part time.
