Martin & Marian moved to Africa in 1989 from the UK where they had previously had pastoral responsibility of a church in Walsall in the West Midlands. They initially taught at Ameva Bible school in Zimbabwe before moving to Malawi in 1992 to teach at the Evangelical Bible College of Malawi and work with the Rock Springs Baptist churches. Since 1996 they have been committed to working with both the RSB and the New Life churches. Martin's main role is now regular teaching of pastors from these two church groups as well as many practical tasks involved in the development of the churches wide ranging ministries. Marian runs a women's fellowship for local pastors wives and more recently has input to the widows ministry and girls club held at the New Life Church centre.
