The Rock Springs Baptist Mission was started in Ndirande township near Blantyre in 1989 by a businessman called David Jambo. Since that time the church in Ndirande has acted as a centre for gathering the pastors for teaching or business and more recently for the RSB annual church conference in October 2009. However because Ndirande is such a high density township space is very limited and for some time we have been looking to help the church establish a new church centre with better facilities to further develop the ministries of the church.

In 2008 land was purchased in Lilongwe and building is now underway to make this both a home for the RSB church in that area as well as a new church centre for the wider RSB churches. Godfrey Kamwendo who is chairman of the RSB churches has been based in Lilongwe for some years now and new churches are being started in the Central Region of Malawi and beyond.

The new building is multi purpose in design with the intention of being a hub for a variety of activities and Pastor Dick Meseverere who recently qualified from EBCoM will be helping lead the churches ministries there.
