Libuda village is in a very hot and rather isolated area near the middle section of the Shire river in Mwanza district. Pastor Chambo Black leads the New Life Church there which runs a project supporting about 55 local orphans who live with relatives in surrounding villages and gather daily for food, teaching and care.

The children aged 3-6yrs are now able to gather in the dry and the shade since the church building has recently been renovated and rebuilt. Martin Williams and Pete Leloup a visitor from England, worked in soaring temperatures with their team of builders and some of the church members to finish the building before the rains arrive. The children and church members are thrilled with their new place of refuge and we believe this will greatly enhance the progress of this compassionate work.
